Questions, answered.
What is your commission?
For sales, 1% from the seller and 1% from the buyer, which is the norm in Lahore. For rentals, one month's rent split as agreed. There are no hidden charges.
How do you verify a property's documents?
We check the fard or society file, transfer history, NOC, map approval and dues. For LDA and society properties, we verify directly with the relevant office before the token is given.
Can overseas Pakistanis buy through you?
Yes. We do live video tours, verify the file, and help you set up a special power of attorney through your nearest Pakistani embassy or consulate.
What taxes apply when buying property?
Buyers pay advance tax under section 236K, stamp duty and registration or transfer fees. Filers pay much lower rates than non-filers. We give you a written breakdown before the deal.
How long does a house sale usually take?
For a fairly priced house in a good block, 3 to 8 weeks to find a buyer, then 30 to 60 days from token to final transfer.
Do you deal in files and unballoted plots?
Only in schemes with clear LDA approval and a solid track record. We will tell you plainly if we think a file carries too much risk.
Is the valuation free?
A verbal valuation for sellers listing with us is free. A written valuation report for banks or inheritance cases is charged.
