Short courses, clear fees, real skills
SkillShed opened in 2019 above a printing shop in Gulberg because we kept meeting graduates who could not open Excel. Our trainers work as freelancers and designers during the day, so the course content is what clients actually ask for. Every student gets their own PC in the lab and a certificate at the end. Fees are listed openly and never change mid-course.
- Free demo class — Book a slot, sit in on a real class and meet the teacher before deciding anything.
- Placement test — A short test shows where the student stands so we put them in the right batch.
- Admission and timetable — Fill the form, pay the first month, and get the timetable and WhatsApp group the same day.
What customers say
My son was getting a C in Maths in his mocks. After four months here he got an A in the actual paper. The weekly test reports on WhatsApp kept me in the loop without me having to chase anyone.
I needed a 7 for my Canada file and I had already failed once on writing. They checked every essay line by line. Got 7.5 overall on the second attempt.
Both my daughters learn Nazra online with a female teacher. The timings are flexible around school and the teacher is very patient with the little one.
The ECAT test series was tough but that is what helped. Classes sometimes run late on Saturdays, but the teachers actually know their stuff.
I joined after my BA with zero design skills. By week eight I had a small portfolio and my first Fiverr order. The lab PCs are fast, which matters for Illustrator.
Uniform and books delivered home before the session started, no standing in lines at the school shop. Sizes were right the first time.

Questions people ask us
Can my child attend a demo class before we pay?
Yes. Every new student gets one free demo class in each subject. You only pay the admission and first month fee if you decide to continue.
What is the admission fee?
A one-time admission fee of Rs 3,000 applies to regular courses. There is no admission fee for short courses like IELTS or Spoken English.
Do you have separate classes for girls?
Yes. Matric and FSc have separate girls batches, and Quran classes for girls are taught by female teachers only.
How do parents get updates?
Test marks and attendance go to the parent's WhatsApp every week, and there is a parent-teacher meeting on the last Saturday of each month.
Are online classes the same as campus classes?
The same teachers, notes and tests. Online students join on Zoom, submit work through Google Classroom, and recordings stay available for a week.
Is there a sibling discount?
The second child gets 10% off the monthly fee and the third gets 15%. The discount applies to tuition, not to books or uniform.
